The brand

Amal Guessous, founder of A&G Rock 'n Roll Couture, immigrated to the U.S. in 1979 from his birthplace of Morocco. In 1989 he established his own brand that focused on bold designs that combined edgy rebellion with luxurious sophistication, offering a fresh take on contemporary high fashion. Amal's designs reimagine traditional couture with a modern twist, drawing inspiration from rock legends, street style, and avant-garde art. His signature style features striking silhouettes, daring use of textures, and an unapologetic embrace of individuality that has earned him the moniker "King of Rock 'n Roll Chic".

Amal’s rise to prominence has made him a designer and a cultural icon. The A&G brand quickly caught the attention of the world’s most iconic musicians and style leaders. It became a major status symbol, especially in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Paris. Trendsetters, particularly in Los Angeles and Paris, have adopted this as “the” items to have.

Speaking about his approach, Guessous says: "Rock Couture is not just about the clothes—it's a lifestyle, an attitude. It’s about embracing yourself and making a statement without words." With roots in both Paris and Tangiers, Amal has long embraced a multicultural vision that is a hallmark of his designs. The fashion world is abuzz with anticipation for Guessous’s new collection unveiling, which is expected to be a defining moment for his already storied career. His unique ability to merge the rough with the refined continues to attract attention from fashion’s most influential voices, solidifying his place as a revolutionary in modern couture.

A&G Rock is not only a jewelry brand; it's a Lifestyle.

Ever since its establishment, A&G Rock has partnered with Monte Christo Trade Corporation for all of its manufacturing needs. Based in LA, Monte Christo was established in 1997 by CEO and founder Rafik "Raffi" Oganesian. Raffi immigrated to the United States in 1993 from Armenia, where he had been born and raised. After receiving his Master's in Telecommunications Engineering in Odessa, Ukraine, Raffi worked as the chief engineer for Yerevan's main telecommunications service provider until moving to the States. Despite his experience and training as an engineer, Raffi decided to establish his new life in LA as a jewelry manufacturer.

Combining his engineering expertise and problem-solving skills with his natural eye for design and innate craftsmanship, Raffi quickly grew his small company to a highly-respected establishment within the fashion industry. Monte Christo became internationally well-known and respected for its high-quality production. Since its inception, Monte Christo has worked with private labels such as Ed Hardy, Room101, Han Cholo, and, of course, A&G Rock. The company has also supplied major retail stores, such as Zales, Macy's, Dillard's, and department stores in Japan.

When Raffi first met Amal in 1997, the two immediately connected. Raffi recognized Amal's talent as a designer, and understood A&G Rock's potential to make an impact in the fashion and music scene with its bold, daring, and rebellious designs. And now, Raffi is excited to see the second coming of A&G Rock. By combining his experience in quality production and worldwide distribution with Amal's innovative designs, A&G Rock is sure to sweep the world and leave its mark, not just as a brand but as a lifestyle.
